Meghan was first introduced to yoga during her college career at University of Wisconsin, Madison. With an intense schedule as a dance major, yoga was consistently used by her professors as a tool to open the body in class and focus inward before performances. After graduating college in 2009 she took her first vinyasa class and fell deeply in love with the practice and how it translated the feeling of dancing using a different movement vocabulary. After moving to the Chicagoland area in March 2011 she decided to pursue her 200 hour yoga certification at Prairie Yoga in Lisle, IL where she studied with an amazing faculty. She has been teaching in the Western Suburbs of Chicago for over 11 years and has been fostering and leading teacher training in the area for over 8 years. Meghan is continually amazed with how yoga has deepened her connection with her physical body as well as herself. Her classes are inspired by her dance background with an emphasis on continuous flow and moving you toward a free spirited connection to your body and the practice.
