When we decided to complete teacher training it was because we had gained so much in our own personal yoga practice that we wanted to pass it along to others. We wanted others to feel what we felt on our mat. To feel comfortable, strong, and mostly...calm. Yoga has been such an amazing gift in our lives and we wanted others to feel that as well. This is also what we want you to feel throughout your own teacher training journey. We want you to feel comfortable, strong, calm, and empowered. There is something really powerful about leading a group of people through a physical practice that not only helps those that we lead, but also helps us as well. You will learn everything you need to know to lead a solid class. From the philosophy and history of yoga, to how to theme your class in a way that allows you to speak from your heart, to the activation of different muscle groups...you'll have everything you need to guide your students through their own journey.

Lauren has been teaching yoga since 2011 and is passionate about helping others find strength, balance, and healing through their practice. As a former athlete, she was first drawn to yoga in 2004 after being diagnosed with severe scoliosis. What began as a tool for flexibility and relief from chronic back pain, soon evolved into a lifelong journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Lauren is a 500 E-RYT and co-owner of NEXT yoga with her mom, Debbie. Over the years, she has taught thousands of classes, led teacher trainings, and inspired students of all levels with her dynamic and supportive teaching style. While Lauren has a deep love for several forms of physical fitness and wellness, yoga has always been the constant, her anchor both on and off the mat. She believes yoga builds not just physical strength and flexibility, but also mental clarity and resilience. Lauren currently leads the NEXT yoga Teacher Training Program and is available for private yoga sessions by appointment.

Sarah started on her yoga journey while doing P90X in her basement. What started as just a workout turned into so much more. Learning to integrate breath to movement, noticing how at peace she felt after class, and finding space on her mat just for her, became an essential part of Sarah's everyday. In 2014 Sarah decided to take a leap of faith and completed her 200 hour Teacher Training and has since earned her E-RYT 500 certification. What she has learned in all of her trainings, encouraged by her amazing husband and sons, has given her a unique voice that she loves to share with her students.
